LNG sabotages California's green energy commitment.

  1. California law requires 20% of electricity to come from renewable energy sources by 2010.

  2. LNG will compete with and undermine California’s crucial renewable energy programs.

LNG is not a transition fuel to green energy. Instead, it will displace renewable energy priorities and place California’s green energy goals on the back burner. LNG is one more excuse for large energy companies to avoid investing in renewable energy.
